Yesterday night was our first “meeting” in the basement of Jacobus Lounge. We would like to thank everyone who took some time to check us out. Hopefully you enjoyed yourselves, learned a little bit, and will bring a friend to the next one! =) For those of you who missed it, Kathy, one of the TECHnique directors, taught a hip hop piece to Chris Brown’s Forever. As always, Kathy brought the hot fire. Her piece was smooth, sexy, and tons of fun. Unfortunately, no one brought a camera, otherwise, we’d post a video of the class here. Next time, we’ll be sure to remember it.
One participant said this about last night’s class, “TECHnique was ill, kathy’s so hot. lol. she’s fyahhh!”
Lined up for next week is a general TECHnique class dedicated to expanding your fundamentals as a dancer. We’ll be going over stretchs, turns, and everything else you can work on to improve yourself!
Two weeks from now will be a real treat. Director Anne Marie will be teaching a tap piece. So for anyone who’s wanted to try their hands at tap come on down. No tap shoes required. Just come by and be ready to work! Check out the Meet the Directors page for a bio on Anne Marie and her many dance talents. If I have some time, I’ll post a video of Anne Marie at one of her dance recitals!
Make sure to check back here periodically for updates! We have a lot of fun classes coming up, and you won’t want to miss it! As always, send an email to stevenstechnique@gmail.com to subscribe to our mailing list or to leave us any comments and feedback!
